Chatham Conservation Partnership conducted a webinar on SPIDERS on October 15, 2020, and we had a great turnout of about 130 folks.

Now everyone can view the recording, and if you have any interest in spiders you are in for a treat. NC State University Entomologist Dr. Matt Bertone wowed us with his photos, knowledge, and stories all about spiders. His presentation covered spider identification, biology, habitat, and behavior. The discussion also included indoor spiders, medically important spiders, spider conservation, and myths about spiders.

It was one of my all-time favorite presentations ever! I have loved finding and observing spiders for years, and now I feel like I want to go out and get a Ph.D. in Arachnology LOL.
